iOS Tips

Activate Speak Text in Settings > General > Accessibility
When highlighting text, you have the option to have the text spoken
Open recently closed tabs in Safari by tapping and holding the + button
Split the iOS keyboard by sliding your fingers apart
Tap and hold the exclamation point to get the apostrophe key
Use the Reader function in Safari to make articles streamlined
Don’t bother quitting apps and other myths
No need to quit apps, unless it's a music app or GPS
Use volume up button to take picture on iPad or iPhone
On the camera, tap to focus your pictures
In iOS 5, use four fingers to swipe screen movement
To zoom in on screen, double tap with three fingers to zoom in, to move around the screen, drag three fingers. Turn on feature in Accessibility settings.
